Frequent Questions
What’s the difference with subscribing directly with Garmin ?
You can continue to get your subscription from Garmin and still use our platform however you can now opt to subscribe with us and get your custom plan from Traksat. We will take care of everything and you will no longer needs to deal with the Garmin portal. We will be the only company to bill you and guess what you won’t be forced to use a credit card anymore ! You will also be able to contact our support and speak to real person. Additionally you will get different features anymore in line with a corporate and professional use and will benefit from all the power of our platform and therefore manage all your other assets on any kind of networks on the same screen.
Can I use Garmin Messenger and the other Garmin’s app still ?
We’re building our own app in replacement but in the meantime yes you can continue to use it, however we ill create access for you. Our app will add a major change in the sense that our app will be able to work over cellular by defaults and switch to Iridium whenever needed using the BT paired Garmin device.
Do you have unlimited package also ?
Unfortunately we’re not able to offer those kind of unlimited use as our customer are all heavy users and not seasonal user like most of the Garmin customers. We believe our plans suits well the need of our customer base by offering more flexibility (for example we don’t limit the use of some report time in the smaller plans). We strongly encourage users to simulate their consumption need by sharing typical use profile with us and we will advise you with the best plan.
