Yes, the only thing you can’t do without a phone paired with your Bivy Stick is send and receive text messages. However when you use the Bivy Stick with your phone, you can also enjoy using the cellular service for most of the features including tracking and 2-way text messaging without using your Iridium satellite airtime credit.
